For sale is a G Scale Doodlebug made by Aristocraft, lettered for Denver and Rio Grande Western (D&RGW) M-3 in a Pullman Green livery (ART-21209). This is a model of a self-propelled gas-electric passenger car often used on shortlines and branchlines where the ridership did not demand a full train. The car has an operator's area, baggage area, and general seating. This model has low miles for having been built in 2000 (I never ran it, but I acquired it from a friend who ran it for a few laps). The metal wheels show wear, but the plating is still there. It runs smoothly and has no missing or broken parts (the bell is still there, that’s often missing on these) that I know of, but you must check the photos for yourself. The headlight and marker lights work when tested. This train comes in its original box, which has a little sun fading. It is equipped with the factory Aristo plastic couplers. These models are popular among garden railroaders as it is an easy way to add passenger service to your backyard. I’m only selling as the road name does not fit with what I typically operate.
