This is the unique, custom manufactured in 1965 for the Train Collectors Association, Lionel 6464-1965 blue plastic painted box car, on a type IV body mold. It is all original and complete. It comes in its original plain, Lionel logoed mid-1960's box with all flaps present and intact. This car was never catalogued and was never sold as part of a set. Only 800 were produced by Lionel for the TCA. TCA began issuing a Lionel manufactured limited edition car each year beginning in 1965, to commemorate its annual conventions. The 1965 TCA National Convention was held in Pittsburg, PA.
